New to Vaping?
So you’re thinking about trying vape?
It’s been around for about 10 years, everybody is okay, and probably most of the smokers you used to know either vape or have used vaping to help them quit completely right? Well the good news is that you’re in the right place to get what you need to join those people and make the switch. Vapeaholix have a wide range of Starter Kits and Vape Pods that are designed for simplicity and ease of use. No science, just safe, great tasting e-liquids that hit the spot and kill the cravings.
What do I need to start?
You’re going to need to know two things. How many cigarettes you smoke on a daily basis and your budget. You can roughly equate the level of nicotine you’ll need to the amount of cigarettes you smoke. Approximately 10 cigarettes = 10mg nicotine strength in broad terms. Over a pack a day and it’s 20mg all the way. Vaping is definitely going to cost you less than smoking, so budget really applies to how much you want to spend on a device.
Which device should I buy?
If you’re just starting out then a Starter Kit or Vape Pod would be ideal. These vary in vapor production, from cigarette simulation (MTL) to more, but not insane cloud (RDL). Good examples of MTL (Mouth To Lung) would be the Aspire PockeX or the Smok Novo 4 Pod. If you want more flavour and vapor production then try an RDL (Restricted Direct Lung) like the Voopoo Vinci X2 or the Geekvape Aegis Boost. Vape devices are generally so good these days that your main concerns will be battery and coil life. These vary between devices, but the previous suggestions are proven winners. Of course you can always try a Disposable Pod to just give vape a try. There’s plenty to chose from in a range of great flavours. Freebase Nicotine vs Nicotine Salt
Let’s keep this simple. They both do the same job, which is to stave off cravings and keep you away from smoking cigarettes. Freebase gives a harder throat hit than salt and it doesn’t absorb into to your bloodstream as quickly. Whereas Nic Salts are smoother and affect the flavour less, whilst absorbing around 10 times quicker in the brain. Thus you can vape higher concentrations in your e-liquid (20mg) and it still tastes good. Salts have quickly become the first choice for over 80% of today’s vapers.
